Woodfield mall lockdown - Woodfield Mall is on lockdown after reports of a gun inside the facility. A search of Woodfield Mall under lockdown has so far revealed no guns nor shooting see also Home depot expo and Nicholas cosmo Case.
Woodfield Mall has over nearly 300 stores and restaurants. It is currently the largest mall in the Chicago area. Individual stores closed at 1 pm following instruction from law enforcement. Update by 1:30 the mall was denying any other patrons entrance. No arrests have made as security looks for the suspects. By 2:15, 50 officers are in the mall looking for the two individuals believed to be in possession of a fire arm.
