A continental airlines flight 3407 plane crash in Buffalo, New York, killed 49 people, the  citing unconfirmed reports from Buffalo Niagra International Airport. 44 passengers dead , four crew members and a person on the ground, Buffalo News reported, this news after Satellite crash.

50 people may have been aboard the aircraft, citing County Executive Chris Collins. Crew members reported mechanical problems as the plane approached the airport.
