Alexandra Kosteniuk is Russian fashion model Alexandra and  the 2008 Women’s World Chess champion. Alexandra Kosteniuk born April 23, 1984 in Perm, Volga Federal District) is a Russian chess Grandmaster and the current Women’s World Chess Champion. Alexandra Kosteniuk became an International Woman Grandmaster in 1998, an International Master (competing against men) in 2000, and an International Grandmaster in 2004, the same year she won the Women’s European Chess Championship.
