John Odom Trade Bat

John odom trade bat – Laredo Broncos pitcher John Odom “Bat Man” or “Bat Guy” or “Bat Boy,” was the minor leaguer traded last year for 10 baseball bats — a player who went from pitcher to punch line.

Odom passed away at 26. Odom’s death was caused by an accidental overdose from heroin, methamphetamine, benzylpiperazine and alcohol.

John Odom was traded for 10 bats, which was roughly $665 in value in 2008. Odom may have felt bad but he never showed it. Odom appeared jovial, playing along with the publicity that was hyped by the deal called “John Odom Trade Bat”. Six months later, Odom was dead from drug overdose.

Note:
Benzylpiperazine (BZP) is a recreational drug with euphoric, stimulant properties. Benzylpiperazine’s sale is banned in a few countries, including the United States, Australia, New Zealand and in parts of Europe. However, Benzylpiperazine’s legal status is currently less restrictive in some other countries such as Ireland and Canada, although investigations and regulations are pending under European Union laws.
